Carmel Summit and BRE have truly taken a turn for the worse. This apartment was once a great place to live. Carmel Summit before BRE was strict and took great measures to get good quality tenants. They checked your references; you had to make a certain income in order to qualify etc... Now they will let anyone in with a heartbeat. There is very limited parking. The dumpsters have trash all over the place and there are rodents now. The maintenance staff never cleans up. The new paint and wood they recently installed that took over a year to put in has changed the appearance of the buildings but is certainly not going to change how this place truly is. A dump!
