When I moved into this complex Spring of 2004, it was odd that the complex called itself luxury without a swimming pool *lol* Either way at the time the location of it and the price was awesome 2bd 2 bath was 1175... Anyway, this place initially was a nice place to live- no noise- assigned parking not too many issues that didn't get resolved immediately. However, it seems as soon as you signed that lease fifty other rules came into play that you simply didn't know about. Long story short some folks ended up moving over me who were constantly (CONSTANTLY) stomping around. I am a firm believer in let them know because they may not know- so I let them know a few times until it got to the point where I did have to let the manager know. Either way the issue never got resolved because they turned around and moved more noisy mofo's in. It ended up turning into a pissing contest between me and the managers, I went off on them so badly they let me out of my lease EARLY. I had let them know quickly I have all the rights as a renter- I signed a lease that said I am entitled to quiet enjoyment, and I ain't getting it. It doesn't say i MUST tolerate noisy assed neighbors... Play the bull with someone who don't know the law. Before all of this, I was going to, but ended up deciding not to renew my lease there due to the fact that the quality of the apartments was constantly going downhill (neighbors almost burning apts down with cigarrettes, noisy people on the balcony at 2 am, trash chutes backed up, people parked in my space, Piss poor manager who lives on the premises, yet who can't do nothing "after hours", costs 20 bucks to unlock a damn door(wtf), and to top it off the rent was going up!!! AHAHA like I was going to pay extra for that "over-priced ghetto." So if they ever read this they know exactly who this is. Yes, those apartments are not all that...

Wow, I have lived at City View for years and think that it's a great place to live...the only people who have ever seem to dislike it are those with little experience in rentals in urban areas like downtown San Diego...or those who will complain no matter where they live...I just hope others reading this know that just because the trash chute may get jammed, or someone may make a little noise, that City View is a fabulous place to live...sounds like this person perhaps needs a retirement home instead of an apartment?
