Yo!

It was bad, bad, bad

The management has allegedly changed again, but this is what we went through a couple years ago:

When we first saw the apt, it looked like a fine place. The lady who showed it to us said there was a deal: half off the first month's rent. When we moved in, we were told we had to pay the full amount. We took this up with the management, which it turned out had changed hands. They did eventually honor the original agreement, but only after much debate.

There was already water damage and staining in the unit we got when we moved in. Although it was kind of yucky, they didn't try to claim it was our fault or take it out of the deposit (I was ready for anything- I had taken pictures).

Security was always a joke, and was always changing. About halfway through the year we were there, since we only got one parking space, I had parked on the street (not a safe place) and my boyfriend and I were walking up to the apartment. As we passed the first courtyard, their "security guard" was being attacked by 2 pitbulls who'd found their way into this GATED complex. My boyfriend ended up getting bitten by them, and had to go the ER. The next morning I told the manager what had happened, and she was indifferent. The blood on the communal patio funiture was there for months.

The jacuzzi/pool area (which was often too dirty to use) was supposed to close at a certain time. The jets were on timers which were never fixed for daylight savings, so often cut out a full hour early. Under some security, people were kicked out of the area early. Under others, people were allowed to have glass bottles around the pool until hours after it was supposed to be locked up.

Basically, you just never knew what to expect in this place. New managers and security every other week, indifferent to what was actually going on...we would never consider this place recommendable.
