Collwood Pines was one of my choices when I was apt hunting earlier this month. The day I decided to to check out the place the leasing office was closed for the day. It was about 4:40pm and I had just got off of work. I was under the impression that they were open until 5pm, but based on previous reviews, apparently the staff likes to go home early.
So I decided to give myself a tour of the complex. The landscaping was pretty nice, but I don't remember seeing a pool. The complex is 3 stories tall from what I remember. The entrances to the apartments were from a hallway, similar to hotels but not typical of other apartments where the entrance is outdoors. Now.... the deal breaker for me was when I went to the back portion of the complex, near the hill, and saw a dead rat!! Not a mouse, a rat! It probably died from ingesting the poison from the rat trap that was 5ft away from it. At least they acknowledge that they have a rat problem and are doing something about it.

After 2pm Monday - Friday there is only one manager on site. A lot of times they are either on the property, or have to lock up early to handle business outside of the office...ie: Bank, post office.....
