I, too, had my car booted by Anderson Parking. I parked my car in my assigned space with the permit displayed in the car window. I tried to argue with them and they refused to take off the boot without me paying the ticket. What a scam they are running here, booting vehicles with valid permit and demanding money to take it off!! I talked to Costa Verde management and they basically told me this is the problem between me and Anderson parking which is rediculous. I was wondering if all of the Anderson Parking scam victims can file complaints together to the district attornys office of san diego county. We need to take actions against scam artist like this!!!

yes, i have filed a complaint already and its being looked at by the district of san diego county illigal towing and scams. It could take months for them to investigate the problem, in the meantime, if you charged your card for them to take off the boot, i recomend that when you get the bill, you tell them to reverse the charge and write a letter to the credit card company, also get in contact with sd police and ask them for the number to the district of san diego county illigal tow place, and fill out their paper work, if enough ppl complain it will be looked at very closely...

I had the same thing happen to me. I was on my way somewhere, too. I've parked in the same spot for over a year and while, admittedly, I didn't have a sticker, THEY NEVER SENT ME ONE.

On top of THAT, they wouldn't reduce the fee, I had to pay $80, even though they had my car on record as belonging to that spot. AND, they made me pay $15 for a NEW sticker...

WHICH I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED.

Same thing happened to me a while back. I had gotten a new car, and they didn't update my new licence information even though I'd already called and told them about it. Never got a new sticker, either. I didn't end up paying the money because the day it happened, the property manager happened to be there and he felt bad for me because the guy from Anderson Parking was audibly screaming at me over the phone while I was talking to the both of them. What's really shady is that nobody from Anderson Parking will give you their name, even when you ask. I asked if what they were doing was legal, and he threatened me and told me to call the cops and see what happens. I filed a complaint with the Better Business bureau, but they haven't been able to help me.

similar story here, walked out to a boot on the car, anderson told me I owed 80 to ahve it removed. I promptly called San Diego Police who came and after they varified that it was my spot with the management, the officer actually called anderson and after they basically told him that he was faking being a cop, they sent someone out to remove the boot while the officer watched and I was not charged, Thank you SD Police!!

What can be done to get together and fix this?
This type of stuff is happening in other complexes since Anderson covers more properties.
They do not want the responsibility of securing the property and safety of ones vehicle but they are very quick to ticket ot boot someone
and then expect money.

Same thing happened to me. I've also been in the same spot for more than a year. I called up their number and told them I suspect someone is trying to steal another car in the same parking garage. They sent someone immediately (im pretty sure they would've just brushed me off if i told them i needed the boot on my car removed). I showed the person who came my parking permit and luckily, he was nice enough to take the boot off immediately.

But, just 2 minutes ago, i found out from my boyfriend that someone wrote, with chalk, on my car's back window. So, i don't know what the heck Anderson Parking does besides putting a car with the company name in the garage and putting boots and tickets on residents' cars.

Same thing happened to me this morning. Infact I just signed the lease yesterday at 5 PM and did not even get a chance to get the permit or request for any. On top of this, the customer service was extremely rude and adamant.I am about to file a complaint soon.
