So our first car was stolen about 6 months ago, I posted a comment when that happened. Now our second car was broken into and had the whole stereo system and speakers stolen. They went throught our glove compartment and threw everything around. They even stole our overhead light!! How ghetto can it get' We used to live in some really bad places before this, literally you heard gunshots and saw gang fights on a weekly basis, and never did we have problems with our cars. Now we move here where we have a "gated, secure" parking garage and everyone we know is getting there car either broken into or stolen. This is getting ridiculous!! When we called the police to report it the first time, they told us "Oh, that happens all the time over there." Reassuring isn't it' Then when we called them this time, they were like "Welcome to Costa Verde." Pretty soon, they're going to be breaking into our apartments or robbing us at gunpoint. It's got to be the same group of people that are doing it, because they know we are easy targets because we have no freakin' security to do anything about it. I've seen one security guard here in the year I've lived here. We will definitely NOT be renewing our lease when it ends, and I plan on going to the leasing office and start campaigning to potential renters not to move in here. Get out while you can!!
