I always heard people complaining about Costa Verde but I never realized how bad it was until I got here. My boyfriends car got broken into at 8540 and on the front of the garage it states that there is video surveillance and that thiefs should "beware". Boy did I find out that that was false. I called security and demanded to see the tapes of the night that my boyfriends car got broken into. I spoke to people at the leasing office...the security said they would get back to us several times....they never did. Not only that but I tried to get management to renew my lease and the manager gave me a lot of attitude about losing my renewal letter when all she had to do was print a piece of paper out of their system. "You know, this wouldn't take so long if you had your renewal letter" she said in a really annoyed and rude tone. I thought this was extremely inappropriate considering I asked her in a VERY polite way how long this request was going to take for me. She said she would email my request right away and so I left. 3 days later I call back the leasing office only to find out that my request was NOT processed...I asked if that was the manager that I spoke to and the worker confirmed that it was. "Horrible" I said to the leasing agent. I requested again but now it is only 3 days until I can turn in my 30 days notice and I probably won't get a response from the leasing office until past that date. They're just trying to rip me off I figure. The manager is rude as well as some of the workers...not ALL of them..but a few that are unfortunately still working there. Anyway bottom line. Manager is a b**** and so are some of the workers..and for those of you who live here I'm sure you know who they are.

I suggest we report them to DFEH. I can only assume the attitude you got was a result of the complaint you put in with the office about the vandalism which would then make it a retaliatory action when they purposefully did not respond with your requests for a renewal. http://www.dfeh.ca.gov/

I know the manager that you talked about, I guess, it's the fat women who is so bitching...man.. I hope the owner will notice how they have more vacancy...because of that rude manager.
