Yo!

What's Wrong With You People'

The day before I signed my lease, I read these reviews. I damn near backed out. But, I decided to go with my instinct and give it a shot... I'm glad I did.

I've been here for a couple weeks now and I LOVE the place. Here's my view on those negative reviews:

1 - Noisey' This place is no noiser than any other apartment complex in Southern California. When you have 450 people packed into a small area, there's bound to be noise every once in awhile.

2 - Slow maintenance' Once again... there's 450 people living here... unless it's a dire emergency, maintenance isn't RUSHING to your apartment. Why not' Because they're at ANOTHER call that might be a little more important than yours. I put in 7 - 10 maintenance requests... all of which we taken care of in about 3 days.

3 - The staff sucks' Far from it. Ever since day one they have been NOTHING but helpful. Every question I ask, I get answered. I've yet to have a time when no one was available. Someone said the staff doesn't answer the phone... well, maybe they're busy. If you'd notice... there's usually only 3 of them in there at a time. You know what I do if I call and don't get an answer' Call back later. If I'm impatient.. I walk my happy ass over there. After all... it's not exactly a long walk.

4 - Parking' Yeah, parking IS a little bit tight... but if you just take that extra 3 seconds to take your time and park straight, no worries.

5 - The grounds are nasty' What are you smoking' Have you been to any other apartments around here' These are beautiful!

It sounds to me like there's a couple people that will NEVER be satisfied no matter what happens. I have news for you: apartments are apartments. Things break. People get loud. People get busy. If you can't handle these things... maybe you should buy a house. Or a boat. Something where you don't have to have any human interaction.

Bottom line: I've been to NUMEROUS apartments in the San Diego area... this is by far one of the better ones. If it wasn't, I wouldn't be here.
