All in all, this place is okay, but I do have several complaints.

1. Parking--Parking spaces are small. Many people, park over the lines making it difficult and sometimes impossible to get into a parking space.

2. Toilets--In my apartment as well as my neighbors, our toilets produce a pretty "fowl" ordor. I am not sure if it is the septic tank, but the smell is more apparent when the toilet is in use. Also, there is not much water pressure in the hallway bathroom.

3. Fixtures and countertops--although some of them have been "updated," the counters in the bathroom are old and outdated. The tile countertops in the kitchen are a little difficult to clean.

4. Mold--It seems to collect in the master bathroom quickly. Walls must be cleaned at least once or twice a month.

5. Insects--Ants have come and gone several times in the 8 months we have lived here. Insect repellant works well for awhile, but ants find other places to go. We've have seemed to have neutralized the problem. (I am new to California and I hear that ants are an problem in this part of the country)

6. Neighbors--There are some undesireable neighbors around us. Many leave trash by their front doors (for days) and "junk up" their porches. This really creates an "eye sore" for clean people like ourselves.

To conclude, El Dorado Hills has some great ammenities such as two pools, two hot tubs, computer room, fitness center, etc. Management does not seem to be doing as much as they should in making sure people's premises are kept "clean" and free from "junk."
