H.G. Fenton Company and the El Dorado Hills management team are committed to providing our residents with well-maintained residences and common areas and a high level of service. We care about our customers and their experience with us. We are very pleased that El Dorado Hills enjoys high renewal rates, which reflects a high level of resident satisfaction. We make every effort to resolve any resident concerns quickly and effectively. Specifically:
We are committed to responding to maintenance and any other requests within 24 hours.
We provide our residents with my own 24-hour pager number should they be disturbed by after-hours noise so that I can resolve any issues quickly and effectively. El Dorado Hills is a quiet community and our residents tell us they appreciate this.
Resident safety is our top priority and we are gated for better security. We also have an emergency plan in place along with a courtesy patrol service.
We want to ensure that our available parking is maximized for the use of our residents. One year ago we began issuing permits to each resident so that we can effectively track parking and make sure spaces/carports are being used only by people who have a right to park there. The fact that we are a gated community also helps prevent unwanted visitors or cars taking up spaces that are reserved for residents.
The complaints in the anonymous postings are, fortunately, very rare at El Dorado Hills. Regarding the recent postings relative to the gates not working and security at our gym:
Occasionally, a resident will bump the gate in an effort to get through before the gates fully open. Unfortunately, this knocks the gates off the track and damages the motor. While we immediately order repairs, there may be a period when the gate does not work until the service/repair can take place.
Among the many amenities offered by El Dorado Hills is an on-site work-out room/gym that is open 24 hours a day for our residents convenience. Following the unfortunate assault that occurred to one of our residents in the gym six months ago, we immediately:
Notified all residents about the event and recommended safety precautions
Installed new security locks on the gym immediately
Worked closely with police to ensure that El Dorado Hills was as secure as possible; at our request, police patrols were increased
We continue to monitor the community to make sure appropriate security measures are in place and respond to any resident concerns quickly.
We are honored that positive feedback by our El Dorado Hills residents helped earn us superior ratings by SatisFacts Research LLC for resident satisfaction. Additionally, our very own Leslie Velho was named second place San Diego County Rental Manager of the Year for projects 401 units by the San Diego Apartment Association. Our most valued reward, however, comes each time our residents choose to renew their leases, trusting us to continue serving them with a high level service and integrity.

Not exactly sure why you would want to thank us for renewing our lease when everytime you renew your lease, you raise our rent. What's that about?
