Getting worse all the time

As the previous poster mentioned, the tenants here have been getting worse and worse. He has to deal with all the loud frat boys and that crowd....I have to deal with all the screaming kids and kids on skateboards and kids on scooters. There seems to be no parental supervision at any time for these brats. I suppose since the place is gated, they feel safe letting them roam. How about having some respect for your neighbors'' The little fools get onto the basketball and tennis courts and become a public nuisance, not to mention destroying anything they can...such as tennis nets that they sit on (8 or 10 of them at a time.) They also somehow get into the gym and destroy property as well as just plain annoy other gym users. I was playing racquetball once and these two girls (probably about 10 years old) kept banging on the door and asking when we were going to be done. They had TENNIS racquets and tennis balls and were planning on using them on the racquetball court. They have also scratched and marked up the floors and walls on that court.

The kids on their skateboards and scooters are even worse. Sooner or later, one of them is going to be hit and seriously injured or killed because they ride all over the parking lot and shoot out from unseen areas all the time. Once I was taking the garbage out when this kid on a scooter came shooting behind a neighbor who was just beginning to back her large truck out of her parking spot. The kid took too sharp of a turn and fell down directly behind the truck. There is no way the driver saw him or could have seen him. I frantically motioned for her to stop, which she did. I went to the kid and helped him up and asked him if he was ok. He muttered something nasty at me and went on his way. He was probably only about 8 years old. The following week he was on the tennis court banging things against the net and fence. He saw me and started screaming, "I'm going to kill you! I'm going to kill you!!" Nice.

The older skateboarders practice their moves and tricks on the basketball court and all over the sidewalk making a horrible ruckus at all hours of the night. They have no respect for you or anyone else. I have to move to the grass when walking my dog, because they will intenionally try to scare her.

Other issues with this complex include:

Allowing solicitors to bother you even though this is a gated community. A few nights ago, I had this guy banging on my door at 10 p.m. trying to sell candy.

Apartments are old and made shoddily. The plumbing system has been an ongoing problem since I moved in. The carpet (even though they claim it was only a year old when I moved in) is terrible. It's basically 2 or 3 year carpet. The dishwasher and washer/dryer are old and don't work all that well.

Management is clueless and does not listen to any feedback. They do nothing about the behavior of the kids. In fact, they can be walking through the complex, see the outrageous behavior, and just keep going. It's not their problem. They don't live there.

If you haven't noticed Tierrasanta is a family area. If you are single and don't have any kids then go live in PB or Mission Valley. I have never seen the kids out so late at night and have never had someone knock on my door at 10pm selling candy. My washer/dryer and dishwasher work great I have no problem with them. You must be a grumpy lonely person who needs to get a life. Seriously anywhere you move you will see kids playing. As for the raquetcall court the adults also play in there and they also have damaged the area. So don't blame the kids for everything the adults do crap too. If you dislike this area so bad then move look at your lease it's very easy you don't have to pay a fortune to break your lease. I'm sure you will be complaining about all the remodeling they are doing to make this place look nice.

Above is an obvious post by management or one of the negligent parents at El Dorado Hills. And no, I'm not a grumpy, lonely person. I like kids...but when the parents (which I'm betting you're one of them) don't supervise the kids, they can and do destroy peace and property. Take your anti-single person mentality and go fock yourself.
