I lived there for over 2 years and I've never lived in such a hell hole. The first year wasn't so bad. The second, it just got worse. It went from one end of the spectrum to the other. Not only are the people that live here NOT curtious, friendly and respectful but they're also rude, obnoxious, and impatient. Let me give you some examples: 1) they won't let you back out of your parking spot, they'll get right on your butt so you have to do a 50 point turn to get out 2) the parking spots are so close together that they end up hitting your car so if you have a nice car you really don't want to live there 3) because the parking spots are close together they also squeeze you in and if you're 5'0" to 5'8" and 120-200 lbs there's no way you'll fit in between, if you're bigger you definitely won't 4)if you're walking to the mailbox or walking your dog no one will say hi to you even if you say hi first 5) the front doors don't have springs to hold them from slamming so you'll know when all of your neighbors arrived home 6) the windows are not dual paned so you'll hear everyone whisper just outside your window but they really won't be whispering cause they don't care if you here them so they'll talk loudly making sure you hear them, it gets really hot and really cold 7) the walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors talking on the phone or to each other 8) my neighbor just love to blast their music not caring what you think 9)if you complain to the front office that a car nearly hit you a half a dozen times by whipping around the corner too fast -- they'll act sincere but won't really care (black Toyota Corolla 6CQU*** owned by someone guy in the military (he really represents the military proudly) and a little 1980s black pick up truck) 10) you'll get blamed for a party that you never had because your neighbors will say you're the one that had it when you were really out of town so they won't get in trouble 11)the appliances don't work well so you have to have a work order done about 6 times before they replace it 12)if you have a clogged toilet or a maintenance emergency don't bother to page maintenance because they're pager doesn't work so they won't answer 13)the only good thing I can think of is if you put in a work order, maintenance will come in a timely manner but even if you put on the order to NOT come in if you're not home they will still come in 14) the neighbors that have dogs don't pick up after them so you'll end up walking in it 15) if you work graveyard, you won't get any sleep during the day cause the gardeners use the blower or lawn mower just about everyday of the week and there are so many loud, obnoxious and disrespectful kids that you won't sleep, there's no peace and you'll probably have a basketball thrown on your car and you're going to wonder where did that dent come from' And if you don't have an alarm and if you're not home-- you'll never know but I've witnessed it. 16) There isn't an onsite security so don't bother cause they won't get out of their car unless you call them to interrupt a party or some really loud talking. Be sure to have some ear plugs. 17) if you have a big vehicle-- it won't fit the parking spot comfortably. you'll have to take up two spots or just squeeze 18) And the gates are left open all day and all night until i complained and now they're open all day. safe right' the remotes don't work so you have to get out of your car to push in the code 19) the rent is outrageous for the amenities. at first i thought it was doable then i got real and got the hell out 20)i forgot about the ants and spiders that wind up residing with you. the front office sends someone to spray the ants but that doesn't do anything. 21) the spa is not filled up enough so you can always hear a gurgling noise coming from it *Tierrasanta is a beautiful place to live, it's in the perfect spot in San Deigo but if I were you I'd look into other places to live in Tierrasanta. It's not worth it living there. You'll grow gray hairs being here. The first chance I got-- I was outta there.

I currently live at El Dorado and I don't terribly care for the place....but a lot of what you're complaining about are the tenants, not the management. Reasons 1, 4, 5, 8, 10, 14 are other tenant issues. There are many things wrong with El Dorado, but you can't necessarily blame them for jackass tenants.
On the other hand, I do agree about the little bastard children running around this place. They are little menaces that have taken over the basketball courts and tennis courts and swimming pools. Parents should be evicted if they can't keep their children in line.
