My husband and I moved to El Dorado hills last year. When we first moved in the lady that did the pre-inspection said that she did not notice anything wrong at all. When we got to the apartment there were several things that she missed. We noted all these problems on our move-in check list. We quickly noticed that we should have chosen an upstairs unit. We were infested with these tiny little ants that blended in with the wood. I would pull the cutting board out and I would have to look closely to make sure that there were no ants on the cutting board. Nine times out of ten there were ants covering 90% of our cutting board. They were in the cabinets and in areas where there was no food. Also, we had a HUGE spider infestation. It was horrible. We moved out but to our amazement they were charging us for things that we were not responsible for. They bleed you dry and never ever return your deposit and charge you for things that you marked were pre-existing problems on your move-in sheet. They are a gated community but the funny thing is that the gate is OPEN all day and night. Why is the gate even there'''' The parking is horrible!! The spots are tiny and there is never any available. If you own more than one car then you have to park on the street..... the dumpster area is always dirty.... I could never get past all the bags of garbage in the floor..... the dumpsters fill up fast and then the lazy ass residents just throw crap on the floor. You can hear everything.... I could hear my neighbor vomiting in his bathroom. They are over priced.... $1250 for a 600 square foot one bedroom one bath apartment'''' Don't waste your time at this crap hole. I like the area but this place sucks and they are constantly changing employees and they can never get on the same page.... save yourself the trouble and money and live somewhere else!
