Do Not Live Here!!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/11/2005 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005   I lived in this apartment for about 13 months. I have lived in many places, but this place is by the far the worst place I have ever lived in. I wish I can give 0 star. First of all, the crime rate is extremely high. My car got broken into two times as many other people in the aparmtent, and the management does not do anything about it. There is a security gate available, but the management does not use it because it is "inconvenient" to some. When I asked for one month extension due to personal reasons (I was moving to Illinois a month after the lease expired), they raised the rent by additional $200. Furthermore, after you move out, you receive this rediculuos move-out statment containing all kinds of charges ($85.00 for the carpet cleaning, $70 for touch-up painting, etc). Instead of getting my deposit back, I ended up paying more to them. Also the place has a serious pest situation. It is full of fugi, molds and flee. One time, I requested an emergency pest control on Sunday, but the exterminator did not show up until the following Wednesday. I wish people can check this website before they sign their leasing agreement. This is the worst place you can possibly live in. Do not live here.
