Everybody's a whiner

I've read many of these reviews and after living here for awhile now, I'd have to submit that most of these reviews come from whiney people that only found this site so that they may purge themselves of grievances coming from circumstances beyond their control. If you do a little research you will find that the highest rating on this website for a place in San Diego is 55% recommended. Taking into consideration the posibility of falsified reviews given by the staff, that's a pretty poor rating.

If you can handle the fact that apartment living just plain sucks and you use that as a relative point to base your judgement of your lifestyle at Esplanade upon, you will find you can overcome minor incidents brought on by the vast different types of people that make up this community. I mean, the bedrooms are pretty damn big, carpet's decent, the location is phenomenal. Yea, so what your car gets broken into' It's Mira Mesa. If you'd rather pay 1700 bucks for an apartment with less living space and the smell of bengay eminating from the walls because the complex is marketed as "luxury" and it's in a "nice neighborhood," then feel free. Just don't start complaining about the high prices. It is San Diego and you pay for that anywhere you live here.

To conclude, the place isn't perfect but maybe if you decide whats important to you in a complex and do a little research on the surrounding area before you move into one, then perhaps you won't be so shocked to find out things like the fact that people have kids and sometimes kids run around, or that if you're in a relatively urban area such as Mira Mesa, you're stuff is more likely going to get stolen...sorry they didn't put that on the brochure, but would you'
