I was new in San Diego when I moved to this place and for some reason fell in love with the cozy feel of the apartment! I was promised a certain move in date and when I left the hotel to go and move into my aparment on a sunday the apartment was far from ready!!! with not much apologies I was asked to come a couple of days later! the only compensation I got was two days worth of rent!!! as if that pays for 2 days of hotel stay!!!!! unfortunately I had signed the lease before getting inside the apt........what a fool! so Imoved in without some blinds in place kitchen almost filthy, the less said about the restroom (tiniest I have ever seen) the better! I was stuck for 10 months so I decided to make the most of it! I was late in dropping my rent check a certain month (dropped it on the third which is the cut off for fine) and still got fined some 45-50 bucks! my dishwasher wasn't functional for nearly 2 months even after repeated visits to the management office and complaints!!!
the leasing office people were in fact nice to deal with in the begining but the management office....god those females have some attitude problem!!!! the apartment itself turned out to be a huge disappointment! there are bugs bugs bugs all over! Imagine waking up one morning getting ready and finding half your door covered by a huge spider net overnight!!! if you live on the ground floor you can completely forget about privacy unless you plan on keeping the blinds shut 24x7! which kinda takes away the advantage of the apartments being so nicely bright with daylight! To add to my frustrations I have come home multiple times to find somebody else parkd in my parking spot and no space available roadside for a couple of blocks to even go look up a number and call a towing company.
So when this ordeal was over for me, I worked my heart out to clean the place! it was certainly a thousand times cleaner when I left than when I moved in! I was done with paying them my hard earned money for nothing! and imagine my disappointment when I found out they charged me a full 300 dollars for cleaning the tiniest one bedroom apartment ever!!!!! its a RIP OFF!! not the cheapest apartments on the block either! stay away if you can .............
