I honestly feel that this apartment complex is getting a bad wrap here. I've been here about 9 months and can't say I have had any serious complaints here. It is not loud as some people have said. The only noise I hear is the noise coming from the street, which is to be expected from a 4 lane road. (noise from the pool, are you kidding, I've maybe seen 4 people in there the entire time I've been here) Yes the apartments are a little small, but you get what you pay for. Totally reasonable for the nice community it is located in (one of the safest in San Diego). I have never had any problem with parking. Yes, maintenance is a little slow, but it gets done. The only complaint I have is the water billing which is collective among the residents, averaging about $30 a month. Overall, a nice apartment complex that you feel safe in, once you can afford more, go ahead and move on up.

Luckily for you there have been those of us who while living there in not such ideal circumstances did all what we could to better the situation. I can't speak for anyone else, but my family and I lived there for 2 1/2 years. The 1st week I regretted signing the lease because of our neighbor living below us. She was a complete drunk and use to beat up on her husband and children on a regular basis. I had to call 911 5 times in the 1st year because of this idiot, follow up with written reports to the apartment management, written reports and phone calls to Bre Properties and I had to contact Child services every time there was an issue. Saw 2 of my other neighbors trying to kill eachother, one was trying to stab the other with broken glass from a window they shattered when they rammed eachother into the side of the building....had to call 911 on them as well. So you talk about the apartment complex getting a bad wrap, maybe think about the people you read the reviews about & what they might have had to do in order to better the situation for people like you before we moved on to 'greener pastures'. You've been there only 9 months? Wait til the end of summer....you may want to read about the "Rats" comments - one of those were mine.

To Maxtek16, How do you feel about paying twice for the water you use and also paying 3 fees for the same gallon of water? If you have no problem with that I would like to do business with you. I like cutomers who are willing to pay for the same product 3 or 4 times for 1 item. I also agre with almost every complaint posted here on this site.
