Gables Has No Respect for You or Your Property!!

I have lived here many years and through the beginning of the new construction. This new management company is the worse I have ever seen! They have done a cheap job on the new renovations. New windows, but the sreens were filled with dust/dirt and windows are so dirty you can't see out the windows very well or the view they charge you extra for. No balconies. A 2 inch gap under front doors so you hear every noise and smell all your neighbors cooking. Bad cheap locks on doors which make it difficult to open the front door of your apartment. Also the front door rattles if you have the windows open. They planted palm trees in the middle of about 20 parking spots. So now cars stick out to far and you can't get out of your carport without nearly backing into their cars. They have done work around and on my cars several times causing damage and their attitude is so what go wash it! Without any prior notice, they have spent weeks pouring cement on the front entrance closed to residents so we have to drive all the way around the building through a smaller entrance. It's been blocked for over a week and no workers doing any work but the entrance is still closed. Now with all the fires going on they give us less than 24 hours notice that they are coming into our apartments to re-wire the cable. Gee maybe they should have done this during construction before moving everyone in''' This is the kind of horrible planning and decision making that goes on with this management company. The on-site manager is from Texas does not care about any California tennant laws, rights or the residents and thinks she can just do whatever she wants and treats the residents horrible. They constantly have workers parking in resident spaces, fire red zones and even behind our cars so we can't park or get into or out of the complex. They turn the water off whenever they want to with out notice and always say its an emergency.....In addition when your turn on your shower brown water comes out. Totally disgusting!! Not to mention all the theft and vandalism that is going on recently. Finally, they increased the rent nearly $500 after these cheap improvemnets to the apartments. Thats $6000 a year!!! What a RIP OFF!!!!!! Thank God I found a new place and gave my 30 day notice and get to leave this horrible community!
I strongly encourage anyone considering moving here to NOT MOVE here!!!!! You will regret it!!!
