there is no upside - the mold is horrible - we must find a solution - it has to be illegal, right? mold is not healthy - i think i'll call the health department on monday - i think i'll find out who the real boss/owner is of this place and give them a call - obviously they have no idea of how their money is being spent - or shall i say not spent on these renovations - someone is pocketing money - multimillion dollar renovations! ha!!!

Yes the previous manager and her husband were great. Unfortunately this new girl from Texas with a serious attitude is rude, abrassive and a flat out liar. I have never lived in an apartment complex with management as bad as there is here currently at Gables Point Loma!! Stay Away future renters!!!

This doesn't make any sense. these problems always existed, Gables didn't come here and then they all of a sudden happened. ******You said "a very old apartment complex that is dim and depressing, with few amenities. It is a run-down complex, no matter how they try to spuce it up. My roomate has had her car broken into twice, I have had mail packages stolen, and our storage unit has been broken into. The planes are very loud and the walls are thin. There has been mold in our bathroom"********************************************** All these things you have listed have nothing to do with the new management! DUH, how could you live here with so many problems? and then say you were happy with it. Gables is simply trying to update an old building. I don't understand the problem here. It really sounds more like the old management company ran the place down.
