Could it be anymore obvious that someone in management wrote the last review attacking us residents' I thought this was America and we could express our opinions and warn/help others from making a BIG MISTAKE...which would be moving into Gables Point Loma. In case you are an actual resident, guess who is paying for all these cheap renovations''' Yes, that would be you and any other residents that stay or moves in. Did you forget about the little $500-$700 per month RENT INCREASE' BTW a few of us are leaving if you go and re-read our reviews... Some of us have bought places and will be writing that check out to ourselves each month instead to someone else getting rich off of us. I bet you are one of these idiots that leases a 30-50K car too' This is why you will never OWN your home and always be a RENTER.
Now the following is just for those people who have not moved in here...WARNING this place is a DUMP!!! Let me tell you why...bath tubs peeling of paint, brown water comes out of bath tub faucet, you can hear neighbors plumbing 24/7 and any noises and feel walking vibrations, front door rattles, locks do not work very well with key, huge gap bottom of door allowing noises and odors to come into apartment, FAKE wood floors uneven and buckle, windows and screens very dirty, no heat in ceilings because they nailed dry wall over the popcorn asbestos ceilings were the heating coils were, shorts in electrical outlets, top of fridge blocks cabinet doors from opening, dishwasher keeps breaking, garbage disposal does not work, leaks under sinks, microwave face plate coming off and fan, light and at times cook mode will not tun off, you have to open cubboad and un plug microwave than reset clock, WATER SHUT OFF whenever they feel like and usually without any notice, clothes stolen out of laundry room, dirty laundry room disgusting, dirty elevator breaks frequently and workers always holding it up, theft in cars and storage lockers, new palm trees planted in existing parking spaces eliminating several spaces and causing several cars to stick out 6-8 feet making it almost impossible to get out of carport, work trucks taking up almost 15-20 parking spots everyday, work trucks blocking entrance and/or parking spaces often unable to get in or out, damage to cars by workers, not to mention the crappy attitude by the Manager and her staff!
Sound like a good place' Don't be fooled by a couple of fake reviews by management! Trust us residents that live or have lived here cited these problems and are leaving. At least make a list and when you come here to look, check out all of these things for yourself...and do youself a favor...DO NOT MOVE into gables point loma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if people are complaining about the cars that stick out, maybe you are one of the people who owns a car that sticks out, then PLEASE REQUEST a new parking spot! Am I stating the obvious?
