I lived at the Heritage for a year and moved b/c of the cable/internet system.
If you like having a DVR/ HD or a program guide that goes a few hours in advance, the Heritage is NOT the place for you. The third party cable carrier is very below average and actually more expensive than COX.
Now if the above does not bother you, there is no better place downtown IMO. Staff and maintenance crew are first class and very responsive. Never had a problem with loud obnoxious people, very quiet complex considering you are downtown. What would anyone else expect.
Yes, it fairly pricey. But once again...what would you expect' You are downtown San Diego.

Agreed. The biggest problem is the stupid cable contract. The management knows it is a problem, but they seem to be stuck with it. We've lived here for more than 3 years, but we'll move out this summer because of it. It's truly annoying (and expensive) to not be able to use Cox and bundle the services.
