First lets start with the rent--$925/month for a 1BR with no A/C. Over the summer I had to leave during the day because the heat was intolerable.





At 7:30 a local school bell rings, but at 5am I wake to the sound of people honking horns outside to pick people up, which continues throughout the morning.





Appliances are crap--old, rusted, delapidated. And for heaven?s sake don?t bother making a service request. I waited weeks for maintenance to replace my corroded refrigerator after rust started leaking puddles onto the floor!





I have never seen a bathtub/shower so small since I was a little girl playing Barbie.





And for $925/month there is no safety patrol. Noise complaints, people parking in you space, transients collecting cans, etc. are personal problems. One woman parked outside my window, honked her horn for 10 minutes because someone parked in her spot--this was after 11pm.





People here throw loud parties every weekend. Its like 100 times worse than the dorms at SDSU--which are actually quite nice. And having to park on the street is impossible. Luckily I have a garage, but of course to get into either your garage or parking space you need a Ph.D. in parking.





Finally, this is the worst and dirtiest place I have ever lived. People here are disgusting and throw away couches into the dumpster on a daily basis. Its apalling. Don?t let the "new management" fool you into leasing an apartment here. They make excuses all day, blaming the other company, when they are more unorganized than the previous one. Take my word for it--in SD this is not the place to be.
