There's better ones out there

This was our first apartment, and we were pretty happy with it for the first few months. However as time went on it became apparent that we would not be renewing our lease.
Many factors contributed to this decision. One, our two bedroom one bath did not have air conditioning, which was fine when we moved in November but come that summer heat we were hurting for one. Our sink linked and was never fixed. Also, on several occasions, we woke up to the sound of bums searching through our dumpster. The fitness room was not in working condition when we lived there and parking was always cramped. Several times we had to park all the way down at the end of the street.
Also, no dishwasher and hardly any counter space in the kitchens.
At night, especially on weekends we were awakened by partying and sometimes loud and drunk college students running around in the street making noise. Some people were also very inconsiderate with thier stereos, often blasting them into late hours so much that the whole neighborhood could hear their choise of music style. The one good thing I can say about Hillside is the close proximity of laundry facilities and they recently installed ventilation in the bathroom making it less easy for mold to flourish, and of course, the landscaping is pretty.
