Watch out for the raw sewage & insensitive manager

This place was cited by the city for allowing raw sewage to flow from two of its units out into the street. On a weekly basis, one can see/smell effluent, even after the citation. The homeless make a living out of the open dumpsters. There is a rat problem, as a former health inspector observed. Passers-by can see for themselves poorly managed rehab efforts, projects left incompleted for months, and deterioration under hastily applied spray paint jobs. Several buildings with piles of roofing debris on top have been photographed by concerned tenants. The rumor the management does not care is bluntly demonstated by the slipshod way these projects and even routine repairs are being done. Worst yet is the capricious manner in which the tenants are being shoved around. The intent, as one of the staff mentioned, is to "inconvenience the tenants" - since the owners don't live here, slumlording appears to be more cost effective than doing what it takes for those who are trying to achieve a decent quality of life. The manager states one thing and does another-more to the detriment of the tenant. Do not let the fancy printed jargon on their paperwork fool you. There is no one here who gives a damn for the tenants, especially the manager.
