I have been in Hillside Gardens since Sept 2007. It is totally not worth the hassle. I rented site unseen from across the country. I know my bad, I will NEVER make that mistake again.
The pest problem is out of control!! I have attached pictures of what my freezer looked like one day. Those are ants. That is disgusting. Granted after I emailed these pics to the office they sent the pest guy and the on-site house keeper to clean my refridgerator. Usually I just see a constent ant trail from the outlets in my bedroom and bath room. The bug man comes but it only works for a few days. Since this morning I cleaned 3 dead ants out of my freezer again.
The Mgnt has been rude and needs excessive proding to get anything done. (the woman I mostly delt with has been let go so maybe this will change, here's to hopeing) The security is a JOKE! The only time I see them is smoking a cig with their friends on the cart parked next to the office. The noise is rediculous. I have called and complained about the sketchy neghbors knocking on my door at all hours and it took the office 2 complaints from me and them threatening the lady down stairs to do anything about it.
Parking GOOD LUCK! Even DRIVING down the frontage street is a pain because people drive both ways on a single lane road.

Sounds like my experience. Honestly, anywhere else is better than this place. The thing that I figured out about the management is they're there whenever you don't want them ie complaining about something you do within an hour but are never there when you need them; basically useless.
