Yo!

Horrible place to stay whether you're a college student or not

I read many reviews on here, and a lot of them have to do with noise complaints. Though there are a few students around that party and play loud music, the real culprit at IG is the paper-thin walls that separate the units. To add to that, the living room area is lined with single-paneled windows and doors, which definitely do not help to contain voices and sounds within the unit.

During our stay at IG, we were constantly harrassed by noise complaints for "talking too loudly" when we were just carrying on with routines like studying, having dinner or just having a simple conversation amongst ourselves.

For those who stay up past 10pm, don't move here unless you can manage to not speak a word past that time or tolerate the obnoxious, unprofessional, rude and inconsiderate management (the manager is nice, but the rest of the staff members, to say the least, are arrogant and definitely do not know what they are doing).

For those who sleep before 10pm, don't move here unless you actually think that it is reasonable to expect college students to sleep/maintain pin drop silence past 10.

And even if noise problems don't concern you, the apartments are still utter crap and over-priced. The units are stuffy even in winters with no ventilation or AC (and you cant even open your windows due to the noise), and parking spaces are ridiculously small. Appliances in the kitchen are ANCIENT (our microwave beeped alarmingly for about 30 seconds when the food was ready and our trash compacter never worked, even after the management "fixed" it. The trash shoots are so small that you'll have to stick our hands in there to shove our garbage down (yuck) or opt to go downstairs to dispose in the big bins, if you don't mind the flies. Plenty of creepy people to make you feel unsafe: we had a neighbor, appeared to be in his mid-30s, practically stalking us & writing notes to us expressing some rather disgusting interests; they also had a huge problem with a "Peeping Tom", as well as many complaints about cars being stolen or broken into.

The only thing going for IG is its location and decent sized living space, which you can get in plenty of other places in the area.
