Haven't had to move out yet so i have no opinion on that matter. The management was at least honest about keeping deposits, they told us they pretty much always keep it. It was still cheaper than alternative apartments so what's the problem. It's important to note that there are several buildings and some are nicer than others. I live in the cheaper ones and you pretty much get what you pay for. I can't comment on the more expensive ones. Surprisingly, the cheap units have a washer, dryer, and dish washer which was very very nice. Noise was no worse than EVERYWHERE else in la jolla except on the day of the week that the workers mow the lawn and whatnot at 8 in the morning, this IS annoying. Parking is actually a dream compared to everywhere else in la jolla, small spaces but you can still fit a truck in them fine, just don't suck at parking. Not once have i had a problem finding close parking for myself or any number of visitors. Slightly tacky but not horrible looking apartments. Their little gym is actually pretty nice. Management was rude only one time that i remember. We were pretty noisy some nights and no crap from neighbors or management. Didn't have to have the repairman fix anything but he seemed nice. Its a bit unfair that this place gets such poor reviews but i can see why some types of people don't like it.
