FILTHY FILTHY FILTHY!!! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 1/30/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008 1 response   I have to tell you for the price of this one bedroom apartment it is not worth it at all! This property should be ashamed of itself. I moved in and the carpets were dirty and they told me they cleaned them and had to see the dirt. They came to the apartment and then had the carpet cleaners come out again and the carpet cleaners came in and did a rush job and the carpets were still dirty it was horrible after complaining again and again I just gave up and had to buy my own carpet cleaner which pulled up buckets of black water and now they are finally somewhat clean. The apartment itself was filthy! filthy! filthy! I complained about that as well and they did nothing about it at all I had to clean it myself! I am not renewing my lease and they tell me not to bother cleaning it myself because they automatically charge $150 for the cleaning of the apartment I CANT BELIEVE IT! $150 dollars and the apartment is now cleaner after I cleaned it then when I moved in THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED of this type of management! On to the dirty courtyard -- the courtyard is full of dog pee on every corner of the property and dog poop smears on the brick walking areas. When I first moved in they cleaned the courtyard several times a month now I never see them clean it and the same dog pee and poop stains have been on the grounds for months --THE SMELL IS HORRIBLE on the first floor I cant even open my kitchen window because of the smell of dog piss and the vents from the garage bring up car fumes it is HORRIBLE! This place is on a constant downward spiral in so many ways! I won't even get into the safety issues of this place it is horrible La Jolla Palms should come down several hundred dollars in price. I have a feeling if they don't take care of these problems it will soon be like a section 8 housing project. I just can't believe the way they are handling things here they really need to get with it! This place used to be awesome now it's like every place else. I really hope the set higher standards at La Jolla Palms soon! I could handle cleaning my own apartment but I can't handle the many ways this place is not keeping the outside safe and clean like they used to.
