I drove around for days looking for a decent place in a decent neighborhood. After 10 minutes at La Mirage I signed a lease. It's hard to find a place in San Diego without graffetti and bars on the windows. This place is great. As for the rental staff, I walked into the leasing office 1 month after signing the lease and they remembered my name. They asked how I was enjoying the apartment or if there was anything that I needed. As for those that say the neighbors are friendly, try talking to them. It's amazing what 'Hi, my name is ____. I just moved in. How long have you been here'' works. Try it. Don't expect people to make the effort towards you if you won't to them. The pools are great, so is the gym. I haven't had a problem with parking. And if you don't want to hear people above you, get an apartment on the top floor. Every apartment complex is going to have it's quirks. And yes, buildings started to get outdated. The newer apartments are down the street but expect to pay at least $400 more a month. But for the location and area, you can't beat this.

LOL, too bad the management staff wrote this. Again, check SD Police website. The highest car break-ins anywhere. Hell we found two used condoms next to the pool area. Hey MGT WAKE UP!!!!!! No one is fooled. The $400.00 u claim we save, we have to blow on a insurance deductable everytime our car is broken into. Instead of wasting your time on this website, start to interview other security companies, look at improving safety, maybe more lights, and putting in Access control. Maybe a main gate. Do something, but dont post Anonymous.

LMAO!!!! I bet it was the staff writing this ----...pretty funny, the fatass security supvisor as he calls himself is probably boinkin one of the office staff...reality check people they dont even really patrol there they ride around in the little golf cart and smoke and look at the view around the upper side facing the stadium I'll argue those facts with anyone I KNOW ITS TRUE..
