Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I'm about to move out of my apartment after a year lease.
A couple problems I've endured during my stay:
1) Termites! It took about 2 months before they started to take care of my termite problem.
They sent someone out to fix it the first time, and they said they didn't bring the right pesticide...even though I told them it was termites.
When you call the maintenance department in general, it takes them about 3 messages to call you back.
I had to directly deal with the property manager from that point because maintenance was non-responsive.
It usually takes 2-3 months to get your request taken care of.
I had a window broken, bulbs out, and no sink stopper for about 2 months after I moved in.
2) My roomates GPS got stolen in the underground parking garage.
Theft exists everywhere, but they only have 2 patrolmen for 1400 units.
I don't think they can effectively patrol if they only have 2 for that many units.
