Alright where to start. The day my wife and i moved in they gave us the paper for the walk around and told us to bring it back when we were done with it. The first time we saw the apartment there was urine stains in every room in multiple spots, slats from the blinds were missing there was a black smudge of something on the wall, one of the kitchen drawers was broken and the lanolium was in terrible shape. We had to go back to the office and ask them to have the place cleaned again and have the rug shampooed at least. The noise, if you have childeren this is not the place for you there are constantly loud drunks ranting and raving in the parking lot. I have seen the police numerous times. The parking is horrible you get one parking spot that is big enough for a honda civic if you have two cars the other one goes in the street if there is a spot open on the street or you can pay more money for another parking spot. Cars get broken into on a daily basis to the point flyers were going on your door about it. Management what to say about them, HORRIBLE! I had called them they transferred me around a few times then said that I would be called back, I never got called back. So the next day I went to the office and asked for the gentlemen that I needed to speak with and they told me he is on the property we just dont know where so i sat there for 30 minutes waiting and they said again well we will call you when he gets in. I am telling you there are way better places out there then La Mirage for the money you will be paying to live in this horribly managed apartment complex. Do not buy into the pool and all that crap you are paying for a nice place to live not a pool. I made the mistake of moving here and I just want everyone to know what a horrible living experience it was so that they do not make the same mistake my wife and i made by moving in to La Mirage apartment complex. If it's so expensive, and you can afford it, why were you there to begin with? Buy a house if you can afford to live there and throw away thousands of dollars.. let everyone know where you'll find a 'perfect' apartment. I'm sure everyone will love to know..

Not at La Mirage that is for sure everyone knows apartments are not 'perfect' but most people at least expect a clean apartment when they move in, with out urine stains on the carpet in an apartment complex with a no pet policy. The fact of the matter is that it is their job to make sure that the place is clean and ready to go for people to move into. And nothing was ever said about there being a 'perfect' apartment so dont throw words in where you want. Everyone should be able to expect a clean apartment to move into. I dont know why you think that is too much to ask to have a clean unit to move into maybe you are use to living in a pig sty but I am not. I have never heard of an apartment complex that lets someone move into a filthy unsanitary unit with rugs that have urine stains on them until now. And why would i buy a house in San Diego when it is a sellers market right now? Oh one last question to the La Mirage staff that wrote that response, is that what they pay you to do? go on apartmentratings.com and defend the apartment complex, when that is what the web site is for, for people to tell others what they're experience was like dont get so upset you have a few that would recommend your place of employment. Unless those came from you as well.

Trust me, I use to work there. Don't move in! Everything these people are saying is true and then some. I could tell you all kinds of stories, but just take my word for it..............Find another place. Even other Equity properties are ok, just not La Mirage.

He's completely right. This place is HORRIBLE. The management is clueless about what they're doing there. They are constantly saying "we'll call you back and fail to do so". I am living here now and will soon be moving out. Don't move to this place. I even had rats at one point!

I actually had no problems getting their manager Brian to call me back. The amenities were nice and fortunately my car was not harmed in the time I was there. I did have some broken screens and minor issues , nothing too much with the apartment. I loved running the trail, then hitting the gym, then taking a dip in the pool. My issues would be with the "hear-thru" ceilings. My neighbor was an ------- and always called security even when not loud. There were a few other complications. I feel the place is better than some out there, I do agree the rates are rather high, especially with the declining economy. I am happier that I bought a condo and actually its a GREAT time for buyers! Rates are good and there are plenty of bank owned steals out here now , so go bid on one while they are plentiful! Overall La Mirage is in a great location with good amenities, but a little over-priced and underdelivered in the interior.

I live here now and have had two motorcycles and a jeep stolen along with what I suspect to be a maintence worker related break-in to my apartment. The police officer who took my last report said "I dont know why anybody lives here, unless you like having all your crap taken". Managment has done nothing to make it a safer environment I have a lawsuit pending. Do not move here!!!!!!!

Brian Boulais is not the manager he's just a wimpy little office boy with no spine. He has been there for ten years or something, and never promoted to manager.... He's nothing but an assistant that thinks he's a big shot. He is the reason for all the problems there, and the place will never turn around until they get rid of him.
