Don't rent HERE!!!!
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 5/20/2008
Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
After 2007 fire, many residents moved out, but less people newly moving in.
There are still many vacant units.
I'm really curious why they move out.
But, I finally found out what is the reason.
Rent fee increased a lot. More than 8% and that is same as newly moving-in rate.
Even if I lived here one year, I did not receive any discount for that.
Moreover, they charge me additional $50, if I do not renew lease more than 6 month.
Newly moving-in rate is also increase more than other apartment in this area.
They only offer carpet cleaning for renew lease. So, the longer you live here, the worse the apartment condition, but still paying same rent fee. Because they does not offer new paint and carpet cleaning during living is very hard to do.
I know San Diego's rent contcol does not protect rent fee increase. Because of this, this apartment fully utilize that limitation.
It has garage, but only for one car. If you live one bed room but more than two car, you will have much trouble for parking.
Especially in the morning hours and weekend, very noisy.
Children playing between two building with noisy toy (skateboard, motored appliance, RC Car).
During 2007 fire, rental office does not give us any information, assistance, and rent fee discount. Sauna is closed without reason. Car washing area is close for new constuction.
I don't recommend this apartment, especailly living more than a year.
