best part of this place is somewhat reasonable rent for the area and great location close to everything downtown/hillcrest/freeways.

you are under the flight path, and quite a few ambulances/firetrucks pass by. you also get buses, motorcycles and the like. for the few times there's an event on at balboa park you're in for it, parking anywhere near you is a nightmare. yesterday for the rock and roll marathon it was loud as hell at 4 am with tons of buses passing right by here. parking monday- fri 9-5 and overnight is a -----. i've woken up at 6 am and spent 30 minutes looking for a parking space, going about 10 blocks out.. there's tons of meter maids that troll so don't think about bending parking rules staying in a 30 minute spot longer than you should.

management.. i've been here since it was browar, and now with RA. had a few run ins with maintenance. they tend to try cheap fixes but after a couple runs they'll make good. i had the ball ---- in my toilet break. maintenance jiggled it a bit till it worked. this wasn't a permanent fix, had to call him back twice more before i got a new one replaced. my freezer didn't seal right, he bent the door till it worked. the seal caused other parts to break and needed to be replaced.. took a couple work orders and they're replacing with a new fridge. generally the on site manager will reply with in a day.

would i recommend this place' eh. its alright for what it is. the area makes it a lot more appealing than the amenities.
