We've been here for several years and stay for the great location and access to 5. We've been through poor management here several times and it's always the same, employees who simply don't care, have terrible attitudes and poor customer service skills. Don't bother calling as most times management can be found outside taking a 'smoke' break. We've had one truck stolen and three cars broken into in the past 5 years in our security gated garage; my suggestion, if you choose Las Flores, have good insurance with low comprehensive deductibles, you'll need it. Also, our mailboxes are broken into on average of once a year or so; in fact it just happened again a few weeks ago and it took almost two weeks before the boxes were finally fixed and that was after much complaining. We had critical mail stolen and know identity theft is a real possibility now. Our mail was held up that entire time, what a nightmare! I suggested (again) to management a survelliance camera be installed or a security guard be hired, but that fell on deaf ears. Parking is okay here, once you get through the useless 'security gates.' Mold is a huge issue here and so is noise. The walls are like ricepaper and the fixtures, appliances and cabinets are old and rundown. If you like early wakeup noise, the almost daily 8am leaf blower will be a big plus for you. If you like to go to bed early, good luck, the conversations and fights heard from the driveway (esp Th - Sat. nites) can be a real pain. Oh, 'inspections' seem to be a pretty regular occurrence, usually with little notice, can you say 'Big Brother'' Lastly, our rent was just raised another $100 a month, same old apartment, same old carpet, same old paint, appliances, fixtures, etc. If you want to pay more and more to get less and less, this is the spot for you!
