Run, don't rent here unless you really like the grounds.

I lived there for 4 years (only because my wife didn't want to hassle with moving) every year they tried to raise my rent 15-20% after arguing with them I would get them to lower it but it still went up over $300.00 in 4 years. They say it is tied to market rates buy don't be fooled the other newer apartments are much nicer. They also require 60 days move out notice to when every one else is 30 days. There are no air conditioners most of the newer apartments have air. The gym was closed for remodeling for 4 months and they would not make considerations for this nor did they tell me abvout his before I signed my new lease. Maintenance is awful they seldom if ever follow through the first time you submit a problem. The apartment complex can be noisy since you need the windows open. There are no washers and dryers in the units many newer apartments have washer and dryers. The laudry room prices our very expensive.

P.S. make sure you don't live over a smoker I had a Brazilian guy below me who chained smoked and the draft carried into my apartment.

I found a brand new 820 sq/ft apartment in UTC with washer/dryer and air for $1,400. There is very limited parking for guests but plenty in the garage.

The good news about Las Flores are the large bathrooms with vanity(for the girls)and large walkin closet. Nice grounds, near park. I never had saftey concerns. The staff is ok I blame the owners.

My wife took ill right before we were to move out since i couldn't move out I had to give 60 days notice again and I to pay a month to month rate of $1785.00 for two months while my wife was hospitalized. These people are heartless. I stand behind every word email me wecservices@earthlink.net.

You were in a terrible situation and the heartless staff at Las Flores could care less; they took advantage and gouged you while you had to deal with a sick spouse, how horrible! I empathize with your situation. I finally left that dump after having lived there for years (loved the neighborhood) and my experiences with the staff there were mostly negative. They were unprofessional and lacked compassion for their fellow human. They knew nothing about customer service and thought of themselves as the "lords of the manor" while the rent paying tenants were their "minions." May the bad karma they send out to others come back to them a thousand fold.

Its funny you guys say they are heartless. I live here at Las Flores and work at an apartment complex. They are managed my Riverstone which is known as being EXTREMELY strict on their procedures. That is why I don't work with any riverstone company. They can't give leiway or give you a "break". There are policies they have to follow or they will be in deep with the management company. They don't make the rules, they just have to follow them! Don't hone in on them, it is the management company you have to blame.
