Contracts with towing company

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
My friend was helping me move and kept his trunk open and emergency blinkers on while some of my stuff was in it. Ten minutes after going upstairs to put some things in the apartment, we come down to find the car gone. It was towed. I called the front office, and they told me that they were under contract with the towing company and that I would have to deal with the towing company. One hundred some odd dollars later, my friend got his car back, I got my things back, and I was already pissed off the first week at Legacy. Also, if you want company, your friends will either A) get their car towed; B) walk about a mile "literally" to get to your place; 3)or you will have to drive to the parking lot by the front office, which was a mile away from my unit, pick them up and take them to your place, and then drop them back off when they need to go home. The parking system is a crock of ----. With so many units, it can't come as no surprise that so few parking spaces will amount to a huge problem. Combine that with the towing crap and you have something you worry about everyday that you shouldn't have to worry about. They should have just designed the complex with three less buildings and created a parking area. I had a one year lease and during that time, I had four friends cars towed. I felt so bad, I paid for it. Plus, for what you get, the rent is crazy expensive...c'mon its in Mira Mesa for Gawd sakes and its right next to a freeway, maybe the rent would be higher if a strip club and an airport were nearby. Anyway, don't live here, I wouldn't recommend it, even to my enemies.
