Moved in last week.

Staff were quite friendly before and after signing the lease. One of them stayed back late to show me a unit because he was with another customer when I got there and had to wait.

Unit is clean and quiet (3rd floor towards Miramar College). Can't hear the freeway from inside, but somewhat noisy in the patio.

I like the 'higher the floor, cheaper the unit' idea. No elevators, though. Hasn't bothered me so far, but I haven't hauled anything heavy up yet.

Carport seems shorter than the length of my car! And I just have a midsize sedan. That means the front or back bumper gets rained on. Weird.

Wish they accepted FedEx and UPS packages at the rental office. Its a real pain to schedule pickups.

The side I'm in has quite a few overflow lots, so parking hasn't been an issue so far.

I'm not comfortable with the (10pm-6am') curfew on washing machine usage since I get home late. But my wife likes quiet neighbors so looks like an OK compromise.

Location is just awesome - close to everything, easy access to freeways, not directly on a high-traffic road (if you don't count hwy 15).
