When I first moved in I wanted OUT. The noise from I-15 was insane, even with the windows shut. Cabinet hooks came off all the time. Cuts in carpet. Loud neighbors, thin walls. When we called security it took hours. And when someone was in your parking space it took 3 or more hours to get someone to do something about it, by then the person in your space had already left. The pool was always dirty. And apartment property was vandalized. My garbage disposal always went out and it took 2 days for them to come and fix it. We had no time to look for another place and we had gotten use to the noise so we stayed. I also didnt wanna move all of my furniture and belongings down 3 floors. I would not recommend staying here. And they charge up the butt for rent, and we only had a 1bed/1bath. I was told there were no pets allowed and saw them everywhere. Other tenants would have parties in their garage. As a current tenant I can attest to the parties in the garages, thin walls, slow security, recent instance of vandalism (at gunpoint), infrequently cleaned pool, maintenance slow to respond and at inconvenient times, SEVERE (understatement) lack of parking, high rent prices, and no elevators (what-gives?). My carpet unit was pretty clean when I moved in and I have maintained that quality but I'm sure mileage varies. I do not live in the units near Interstate 15 so I get zero noise from the highway. Overall, it has been a better than tolerable living experience in my apartment (3rd floor, 2 bed, 2 bath). I'd like to add that in addition to being close to three major San Diego arteries (I-15, Hwy-56, Mira Mesa Blvd) there is plenty of grocery, gasoline, entertainment, dining, and shopping ridiculously close...like 2 minutes walk. -You can't beat that.
