I typed in Loma Palisades to make a maintenance request online (one of the many nice features here) and clicked on this out of curiosity. I was shocked to see such low ratings when everyone I have come across here loves it. Friends of ours who have lived here for years recommended the place and we have recommended it to others (and got a 50 rental credit when they moved in. But I guess it makes sense, I never would have thought to rate a place I love if I hadn't stumbled across this site.
I'm amazed that the person complaining about spiders all in their apartment let it get that bad without calling the office. I did after finding 2 to take advantage of the free professional pest service they offer. I was shocked to see the girls who work here called such bad names when they always seem friendly and professional (and I've seen most of them with wedding rings so I doubt they really are sluts). Maintenance has always come over in a timely manner and acted with the utmost professionalism. (I too have come home early while my apartment was getting worked on- there was a note on the front door telling me they were inside so I wouldn't be startled, and he was not on my couch eating my food, I highly doubt any of them would risk their jobs by doing that). There are a whole bunch of laundry rooms here and the one I go to only had one machine ever down and was fixed soon after I called and reported it to the office. We love the location, our apartment(I love my kitchen!!!) and love the staff and should they raise our rent (they haven't in the past year and a half that we've been here)we would gladly pay and stay.
