I lived there for about 3 years and never really had a problem. Yeah the parking sucks and the buildings are old so you do have a termite problem in the summer time amongst other things, but you can't really can't beat the rent and they do allow pets. The staff was always nice to me and whenever I had an issue in my apartment the maintenance people were always there the same day to fix it. I read rude comments about how the maintenace staff couldn't speak english...........who cares are you trying to have a a full on conversation with them or something. Another thing I read was how peoples cars were getting broke into. I don't know how many times I walked past a car and saw personal items just spread over the passanger seat. Just a note....don't leave anything of value in your car. I think the area is a great location and the planes are a bother sometimes, but hey you should of known that when you came to look at the apartment. Maybe I was just a fortunate one out of a lot of people who left comments.

I don't think you're alone. It's statistics. People who are content and happy don't have any reason to log into websites regarding complaints. The townhouses are beautiful, I've had no issues, and I knew about the flight path before moving in. All of Point Loma and Ocean Beach knkows about the flight path, you get used to it. Finally, anyone tha moves into a large corporate type spread of apartments KNOWS that there's going to be shenanignas, right? I mean there's how many square blocks and streets of these apartments, and how many desk people? Come on now.

I know opinions and data can be skewed through presentation, so how's about we put this rating system to a real test. Why don't we ask Loma Palisades to include this survey as a part of the moving out process? It would have to be mandatory to get accurate results.
I'm sure a 36% approval rating would be something they'd be lucky to have.
As far as the previous response talking about, "Shenanigans," being a part of every big scale complex, that person should rethink their statement. The amount of desk people they hire should not be a reason for negligence and rudeness. That reason alone is unacceptable.
In response to the original writer of this post and their explanation of why break-ins occur is ridiculous. I, myself, had my 1992 piece of crap Toyota broken into and the headlights removed. My headlight's!!! I'm sure they're a valuable commodity on the black market. There was nothing valuable in the car, or in plain sight.
Not every aspect of Loma Palisades is horrible, but for people to discredit other's complaints and justify some of the injustices is downright pathetic. One last thought to you Loma Palisades supporters; wait till you move out and then come back to this rating site and give your honest opinion, if in fact you don't work in the front office and are giving your mandatory quota of responses.

Dear azucar,
I'm glad you were able to recover some of your deposit and enjoyed your stay. I also understand that a percentage of tenants will have a positive experience with them and some won't. Unfortunately I agree with the importance of being professional when representing the company name. Anonymous is correct in his statement that trying to justify negligence and rudeness is unacceptable and understanding how "Shenanigans" are part of some businesses doesn't mean we should tolerate it as customers. In my long military career I've moved many times and have lived in ten different complexes without complaint. I still believe that many companies feel good customer relations and professionalism are vital to their success. I hope our comments help others find another comfortable residence or help Loma Palisades recognize their high customer dissatisfaction and change their management style. I've never felt so compelled to warn others like I have for this apartment complex. Oh, and while I too was bitter, now that I have some distance from that place, I CAN breathe deeply and DO feel much better now. Good luck.

UnhappySailor08, First of all I would like to thank you for your work in the service it is much appreciated. Second of all I guess I was just one out of a lot of tenats that never had a major issue or complaints about the office staff. Which by the way I always liked Emily. Anywho, I'm glad you can breath again. We need people like you to defend our country!
