why does everyone expect to live in the perfect environment for what you pay for' it's sad... anyways we have had it not too bad here... were three girls in a three bedroom and have been here since july and its been fine.... maintenance fixed things when we needed and were nice... my room leaked when it rained but i called them the day of, they came and checked it out, said it happened last year too, and in the next month, they started redoing all the roofs on the street! ..well that was annoying, having them work on the roof from 8am to 5pm but it was worth it.. i prefer noise for a couple weeks than moldy smells in my room anyday... another thing is they dont pay for water and trash so its an extra 50 to 70, at least for us, on top of rent...still cheap tho for three rooms...
our plumbing sucks kinda but we learned to courtesy flush lol not anyones real fault, just an old building. as of rigth now they are replacing all the windows for everyone which will keep in heat better than the previous ones. what else... oh yeah well we had a dog and it had fleas and when we called for a flea treatment, they set up an appointment that week, cost only 30 dollars and they sprayed the place, and fleas be gone!! havent seen any since... and i am highly allergic so it was hell!
the area is beautiful.. i love the feeling of a complex because i grew up in one and they have it here... were always at the hot tub, always having people over and so do the surrounding neighbors, everyone is chill... yeah so maybe we are your loud "college girls" at night but whatever... we like it and show it... the beach is a ten minute bike ride and 24 hour 711 and gas station is a block or two away.. perfect for midnight munchies... not to mention Souplanation only around the corner... and so is every store and every other fast food chain and many restaurants, its such a good central location to everything including old town and the transit center... easy access to freeways too... and everyone has dogs too so its good to meet neighbors and their cute pups...
i would recommend it here if youre in college or young in youre 20s 30s or even 40s or even small relaxed families, kids are awesome... its a chill community for a cheap rent... management is ok too, just act like you know what your doing and be nice and easy going.... i have heard about the down falls of moving out and paying more than you think but hey, this is what everyone has to do and everyone has to deal with so just deal with it, and we will see how that turns out when we leave, which is up in the air after our lease is up in july you can go on month to month rent which is awesome if you have trouble finding a place immediately.... looking forward to that convenience.... alright, that is all.

First, the author of this review needs to use spell check. You said you're in college, right? Hmmm...you're either going on your 6th year at some junior college or you're a...let me guess...psych major at State. "yeah so maybe we are your loud "college girls" at night but whatever... we like it and show it..." With a statement like that it's easy to see why this place receives such unacceptable ratings. "management is ok too, just act like you know what your doing and be nice and easy going..." What do you mean by this statement? Do you not know how to act in front of people, or interact with them for that matter? The part where you talk about the downfalls of moving out is quite humorous. Either mommy and daddy supplement your income, or you have no real value of money. It's simple...they take you to the cleaners when you move out. There are so many points in your review that it's hard to believe you don't work in the front office of Loma Palisades. My bet is you do.
