There are so many terrible points about this place I don't even know where to begin! First of all, do not listen to the "good" reviews because they are the few and the lucky who have not had any major problems...YET!
*The day we moved in there were no toilet seats or lids on our toilets because maintenance forgot to install them and did not come until the next day to fix them. The faucet in the tub was also leaking the day we moved in... if you have 2 weeks or more notice to make an apartment livable don't you think it should be 100% ready to go' They came at 8am promptly to fix the tub and check the smoke detectors, the only problem was I was still in bed, they rang the doorbell one time and then entered about 45 seconds later while I'm rushing around trying to put on clothes.
*We have really noisy neighbors and no matter how many times we have called to complain about them nothing has been done. Actually we went on vacation and they got in a fight with some other tenants and got a brick thrown through their window and OUR mailbox ripped out of the ground, yet they STILL live here... hello! Let's have tenants that take good care of the property and don't endanger anyone else living here!
*The same noisy neighbors smoke constantly so our apartment always smells like someone is either smoking in our living room or having a Bob Marley tribute... both smells are unattractive to us non-smoking non-drug users!!!
*Also, a tree from the property fell on my car and when I went down to the office to tell them what happened they told me to call the city to have the tree removed it wasn't their problem to deal with. Once the tree was removed the manager simply said "thats what insurance is for" and neglected to leave a note on another car whose entire back window was smashed out by the tree... poor girl came out in the rain to go to a night class and thought someone had broken into her car. My insurance company still has not seen a dime of reimbursement for the repairs to my car...its been 6 months.
* Our hot water heater began leaking so the guy drained it and left moisture in the cabinet which later spread through the walls and began growing mildew in a cabinet in our bedroom which destroyed some pillows and blankets that were stored in there... want to know how they fixed it' They painted over it! Thats good for everyone's health!
*They began putting new energy efficient windows in the complex to give it an updated look and to help with the noise but the contractors stopped after completing only 1/2 the complex, its now been 7 weeks since they ceased work and approximately 15 since they started.
***I urge you not to pay the ridiculous amount of money they ask for something that looks really nice compared to most complexes because it is a MAJOR rip off!!!!!! Emily in the office is SO very nice and we thought living here would be great with someone like her in the office, unfortunately it is the other office workers and the manager that are incompetent jerks! The deposit is low which is very helpful, but in the long run you pay for it when you lose sleep because of the airplanes and the party animals and then when they charge you for putting new carpets in when you move out (even though they were brand new when you moved in 1 year ago).

This person sounds like he's upset with the management and apt. tenants, and probably has some valid gripes. Yet, the portion about the window contractor is NOT true. The contractor's installers have been there every workable day installing windows within the 800 units for over 6 months.
