DON'T move here--unless management gets its act together

I really want to move out of this dump, but can't afford to right now. It seems every year I've lived here, things get worse. For the past year its been almost constant car alarms, loud music, loud people, loud pets. Apartments are older, and with proper maintenance would be okay, but good luck getting any proper maintenance. This place was pretty and well kept when we moved in. Now the unfinished porches have been untouched for several years--with exposed insulation, pipes and raw wood. People flout the apartment rules all the time--there are at least 2 dogs living here, loud music in the central courtyard, disgusting trash dumpster, etc etc--and management does nothing that I can see to enforce the rules. I have talked to management numerous times and all that happens is a newsletter every couple of months threatening consequences, but I keep seeing the same people breaking the same rules, and when I ask them to stop, they tell me they don't care.
I could add even more, but I'll spare you the rant--
Look somewhere else, I know we will be soon!!!

Nothing here has improved since your posting! I hope you were able to make it out. We haven't been able to find anything in the same price range that is clean/safe enough in the area.
