I believe property management companies need to come together and file a class action lawsuit against this website. Most of these comments can be slander and lies with no one knowing the real truth. It saddens me that people would write such horrible things about the community they chosen to live in. This July will be 5 years that I have lived here and Karen, Josie, Gabbie, & Marilyn have been the nicest group of gals. Unfortunately I have never had the privilege of owning and have been renting my entire life and have never had a better experience at any other place I have lived. It seems as though if someone doesn t get their way about something, or they move out and leave their apartment trashed and loose their deposit, they come on here to complain. If you read the ratings of any other community, no matter what state or city, the majority of them are negative. There have probably been thousands of people that have lived here over the past 20 years and you re only reading comments from 20 of them. If comments on a website are more powerful then you're instinct, then perhaps you shouldn t be renting but owning. I mean if you own then you would have nothing to complain about unless you wanted to complain to yourself. So think about what you write or read before you make your decision on where you want to live. I would recommend this place to others, and to the staff in the office, I think you're doing a great job. It can t be easy trying to play babysitter to 500 apartments.

Not true, Johnsonfun1. I have lived in San Diego for over 40yrs and I have only heard terrible things about MC from friends and co-workers. I have to question your motivation. Either you are a member of the staff, or you are accustom to living near trashy people who have no class.
It shouldn't take babysitting to deal with your tenants' concerns. It takes a responsible and responsive business owner who is genuinely concerned about their community. I suspect that there is tremendous pressure from the owner to maintain full occupancy, regardless of an individuals character and to keep costs down by ignoring request to maintain the facility. That's called a SLUMLORD!
By the way, it's not possible to sue a site that allows open, public discourse; you might as well try suing the local laundry mat for having a bulletin board. How un-American of you to suggest such and idea. If you want positive feedback from your tenants, then treat them with respect and respond pro-actively to their concerns.
Thank god for a site like ApartmentRatings.com, we need more sites like this one to protect us from unscrupulous slumlords.

I agree with the poster, this site is full of slander when it comes to MC.

A website can't be sues because people post their views on a place. I believe that there we as Americans who live in a free world have a right called "freedom of speech" and darn it all I'm going to use it! I hardly ever complain but this really took the cake for me. Just my 2 cents :)
