Market Street Village

A long term Equity tenant who is shocked at the complete lack of service From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/23/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   This building could not be more mismanaged. I have lived in muliple Equity properties and have come to expect the basics from Equity without dissapointment until now. This is a luxury building in a sketchy neighborhood with a luxury price and boarding house quality. While the building and units are beautiful, the air conditioning doesn't work at all and in the few months I have lived here they can't fix it, the call box has never worked and they can't fix it and the hallways stink near the trash chutes and they can't fix it. The management is nice but continue to use the excues "sorry everything is under warranty and we can't get the contractors to fix it". I am hoping to use my attorney to get out of the lease. I have rented apartments all over the country and have never complained until now. The rental experience was marginal, the move in experience was deplorable and the living experience has been tragic. DON'T rent here, there is a reason it is only 20% full.
