The way the apartment looks appear to be improving. While the management has put forth noticable effort to improve the external appearance, the quality of the apartment itself has not improved. Thus far, from what I can see the improvements are cosmetic. For example, there is new paint on the outside wood, but there are termites... There are numerous maintenance issues and the maintenance requests seem to fall on deaf ears. Some of my maintenance requests have yet to be addressed (I've been waiting for months and months). Another frustrating aspect is that the water gets shut off frequently, sometime with very little notice. And the last few times I tried to go to the management office it was closed- a meeting and report writing were the excuses posted for it being closed during office hours. We have new washers in the laundromat, but the washer/dryer ratio to tenants is poor. If you try to do laundry on a Saturday- things get difficult. It also feels like the windows are not well sealed, outside noise and dust comes through quite easily.

On the positive side, the apartments do look nicer and fresher than before. It is very close to the 15 freeway, which allows for easy access to stores, schools, parks etc. Although I have not found the manager to be friendly/warm as previous reviewers commented, she is respectful and appears competent. Also the the outside of the apartments are well lit and feels pretty safe.
