I have lived here for the past six months, at first it seemed nice apartment was okay, staff wasnt very friendly, except maintenance. Everyone I have delt with in the office up until this day has been rude. Even when I was working on filling out the lease the guy was rude. My husbands in the military and because he was we had to sign a lease without being able to see the apartment previous, which may be the reason we have had so many problems. It may just be my experience, but we moved in and the flooring is discusting, the carpets get this discusting smell in them if you dont open up all of the windows, its been like that since the day I moved in, I literally have to clean my carpets every two weeks so they dont get so bad I can handle it. I do have two dogs, both of which are potty trained. And as I said it was like this since the day I moved in. The cabinets are ridiculous I dont know who engineered the building of this place but its insane there are so many cabinets you cant even use because of the shape. Also in regards to the stinky carpet, I have complained several times, but every time I complained I went back into the office and they told me they had no record of it, same with the fact that my key half the time doesnt work, and my freezer door never seals so my food goes bad often, and many other things. When I moved in they didnt even hand me the walk in paper work. I just got done driving almost fifteen hours to get here and she walks in turns the water on checks the windows open and turns the ac on. Then she hands me the paper work and says to sign. In all honesty that was my stupidity because I was so tired I didnt even know what I was signing. But a majority of places do an initial walk through then hand you the paperwork and give you a week to walk through everything and make sure its working, NOT HERE. Along with that after the first day I put my coffee maker on the counter top it created some sort of foggy look on it. So yet again I went to the office to let them know, and the manager had the nerve to tell me "well they probly forgot to seal the counter or something, but your still liable for the cost, it will come out of your deposit." I was dumb founded she admitted it wasnt my fault but told me we had to pay for it!! Along with that my husbands getting deployed next month so we had to move out, and break our lease, and they have been extremely rude, charging ridiculous fees for a special we moved in. I understand that they are a business, but this place will charge you for anything and everything they can. The new manager christine is a complete idiot, we had an issue with the fact that they didnt maintain there property and we are currently fighting them for the money to fix what was broken because they dont want to take blame. I am serious the management are idiots everyone who works in the leasing office is unfriendly not to mention there is a new staff member in and an old one out it seems like every month. I wouldnt recommend living here. Like I said it just may be our specific case but a lot of people here are unhappy with the place, literally weekly people put in there notice. But its fully up to you. Hopefully if you move here you have a better experience than we did. GOOD LUCK

I had the same problem when living here! They tried to take my entire deposit for things I was not responsible for. I fought for my money back for over a month and I finally got it. I went to CORPORATE and complained to everyone that I talked to.

I have the same problem. I am living there now, it is horrible. We only have 5 more months on the lease and we are out of there. The literally charge you for everything and if you are maybe one day late on rent expect a "Three day to commit of quit notice" on your door. It is ridiculous. The staffing in the office has always been rude I can never trust them when I go in. I hate it at Mira Monte Apartments.

I just posted a review, but this reminded me! They put one of those eviction notices on my door saying "pay the following amount due: $00.00". I had to go down to the office and sit around while they figured out that I did infact owe them nothing and they wondered why it was there. They had ealier said I owed them $268.00 because they forgot to factor in my deposit. DON'T pay them ANYTHING unless you are positive you owe it!
