At first glance it's nice...when you're inside the complex, it's easy to forget that you're right on the border of the ghetto. We were pleased when we first moved in, but that quickly turned.
The ear-shattering (I have to go outside or put my husband's shooting range earmuffs on) fire alarms go off randomly in the middle of the night or at the buttcrack of dawn, the water always gets turned off because the boilers are broken (or there's no hot water at all), my car got broken into in their 'secure' gated parking garage, and their tandem parking sucks. And forget about parking out on the street CLOSE to the complex. The majority of the time I have to end up parking the next block over by the school.
Let's not forget that the place is filled with students that like to party until 5am on any given night.
We pay $1435 for a 2br/2bath.
