Monarch staff promised me a terrific living experience in beautiful Scripps Ranch. What I got was a decent apartment overshadowed by the tons of negative things. As far as living in Scripps Ranch, we're on the very border, near the freeway. By visiting it is easy to see, this is not Scripps Ranch Country Living, but rather Mira Mesa urban living. I'm not sure how much they had to pay to get Scripps in their name. By far the worst thing about Monarch is the parking. As a previous person wrote in, people get 2 car garages. Let me correct that: only people who pay $1600 a month get 2 car garages. We had a carport. There was never parking for us because the 2 car garage people used their garages for storage. Frequently I found people parked in my only spot leaving me spotless. Management did nothing about this problem but to take a back parking lot away from us. If SOmeone offered to pay me to live in the Monarc for another year, I'd laugh in their face.
