I moved into the Ohio St Apartments in 09/08. I don't know if management is different now, than when the first reviewer posted, but I really like the current apartment manager. She's great and has responded quickly to my maintenance requests.

I am in a 2-bedroom, and it is large, about 850sq ft. Some of the apartments have central A/C, but I have a wall unit. However, with the windows open I get a nice breeze, and there are ceiling fans in both bedrooms and the kitchen. The 2-bedroom has 2 dedicated parking spots, so no more praying for an open spot like I did at my last building. They allow cats, which was great because my kitty is the best kitty ever.

The kitchen is large, with lots of storage and a pantry. I do have a dishwasher. The complex is pretty quiet, there are 4 washing machines and dryers, but unfortunately there is no elevator so moving into a second floor apartment can be a pain. My husband and I hired movers for the big stuff. :)

The downside to the complex is the proximity to the freeway. While I don't hear the freeway noise, the complex is on the corner of Ohio and Madison, at the end of the 805 & Adams off ramp.

However, the good outweighs the bad. There are plenty of restaurants and karaoke bars within walking distance, and there are plenty of corner stores.
